Fitness Room & Classes

We're enthusiastic about the opportunities to boost our residents' health and well being.

Our fitness room contains easy-to-use equipment. There are opportunities to improve one's aerobic capacity on our treadmill and recumbent exercise bikes and build strength with our free weights. Our residents enjoy our fun stretching classes held each week.

The Lake Merritt's personal trainer, Kai Thomas, is available for each resident in classes with others several times per week. Our trainer uses a creative combination of Eastern and Western perspectives in his approach to fitness.
